Dr. Joshua Huffman, D.C., D.A.C.N.B. is the owner and founder of Mounds View Chiropractic. Dr. Huffman takes pride in implementing innovative treatment methods along with the latest medical technology to ensure his patients get better, faster results.
Dr. Huffman received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology as well. He has continued his education with advanced training in Chiropractic Neurology through The Carrick Institute of Neurology. He is a board certified Chiropractic Neurologist. He is also a Certified Neuropathy Professional with "The Neuropathy Treatment Centers of America."
Dr. Huffman specializes in working with patients who suffer from chronic neurological conditions, such as Migraines, Vertigo/Dizziness, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and many other conditions. He works with many local medical neurologists and family physicians to better serve his patient's needs.
In addition to providing exceptional family care, Dr Huffman is a seasoned group seminar presenter. He has presented on topics such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Neuropathy, ADHD, and a wide variety of other health topics. He is very active in the local community, providing services to raise funds for many of the local schools. He is also an Official Sponsor for "Feed My Starving Children," a local Christian non-profit organization that sends food overseas to those in need. He is an active member in "The National Academy of Physicians," a nationwide organization of Doctors dedicated to raising funds for charitable organizations within their community. He regularly hosts his local, "Dinner with the Doctor" event which extends an opportunity for the community to learn new and exciting information on improving their health.
Dr. Huffman is the author of the Health and Wellness book, "Growing Young." The book explores the relationship between nervous system health and human function. It also offers practical advice on nutrition/diet, exercise, and emotional health that all readers are sure to benefit from. He is currently working on his second book, which explores the relationship of the brain to chronic disease conditions.
Dr. Huffman enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Danielle, and his two amazing daughters, Halle and Kierra. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, scuba diving, fishing, and chasing his daughters around the house.
